About Coronavirus Disease ( COVID-19 )

Island Coast Pediatrics recognizes the challenges the coronavirus pandemic poses to our community. We, following the guidance set by American Academy of Pediatrics, have created some changes to play our role in reducing the risk of exposure to the COVID 19 virus.

Currently, the guidance from AAP during the COVID-19 pandemic with regard to well visits includes considering modifications to the structure of clinic schedule and physical space. You might have noticed that we are switching our appointment schedules around. Well Child appointments are made in the morning while the remaining of the day for Sick appointments. We agree that "Immunizing the youngest children is top priority in the context of well child care".
(This guidance is subject to change as new evidence on the SARS-CoV-2 virus emerges.)
